Yvaral

(1934 – 2002)

Yvaral was the son of the godfather of op art, Victor Vasarely. One would think it might be difficult living under the shadow of such a legendary artist, let alone plough their own furrow through op art themselves. But this is what Yvaral did and created his own space within the genre with his work being totally distinctive from his father’s art.
