Maya in Hinduism is a word that eludes to illusion and what we perceive to be real. They surmise you can’t find your true self until you dispel with all ego (illusion of self) and lift the veil of perception. Or if you’re not into all that brevity and stuff….. really just another way of saying, “Keep it real!”

Condition: A small scuff above the bird’s head which is far more noticeable in the photo than in the flesh.
