Yaacov Agam

Yaacov Agam is one of the modern masters of optical and kinetic art. His style is unique and he was one of the first kinetic artists to realise the importance of spectator participation with his work and his art seeks active engagement from its audience. his work asks to be examined, explored and enjoyed. His career really took off when he exhibited at LE MOUVEMENT exhibition at the Galerie Denise René in 1955.Since those early days he has continued with his playful and exhilarating art and continues to be admired, respected and enjoyed by his audience.
