Pietro Consagra

(1920–2005)
A central figure in post-war Italian sculpture, Consagra exhibited eleven times at the Venice Biennale, winning the sculpture prize in 1960. His abstract, often symbolically charged forms established him as a key voice in the Forma 1 movement and beyond. Consagra’s work, celebrated for its precision and conceptual clarity, is held in major collections worldwide, and examples rarely appear on the open market — making them highly sought after by discerning collectors.
