Laszlo Peri

(1899–1967)
Peter Laszlo Peri was a Hungarian-born artist who created his first Constructivist, geometric abstract reliefs in the 1920s while living in Berlin. Moving to England in 1933, he anglicised his name to Peter Peri and became a British citizen in 1939, remaining in the UK for the rest of his life. His refined, minimalist sculptures and reliefs reveal both his constructivist roots and a deep architectural sensibility, making him a leading figure in British modernism.
