Elizabeth Blackadder

(1931-2021)

Elizabeth Blackadder was a Scottish painter and printmaker. Travels through Europe and most notably Italy influenced her work and the way she saw landscapes. She continued to travel throughout her life and regular visits to Japan were essential to her work and the Japanese aesthetics of art and life inspired her.
