Vision of the Month – Autographs – John Lee Hooker
This month’s Vision of the Month in Autographs is a scarce signed colour 8 x 10″ photograph of the esteemed American blues singer and guitarist John Lee Hooker seated in a full-length pose playing his guitar.

Hooker was one of the greatest Mississippi Delta blues players ever and his music is constantly being rediscovered by new generations of fans even now over 20 years after he passed away in 2001.
He has left behind a legacy of monumental work including such wonders as 1949’s Boogie Chillen and 1962’s Boom Boom, both of which have been deemed to be songs that changed and defined rock ‘n’ roll. His collaborations have included working with The Doors, Carlos Santana, Bonnie Raitt, Van Morrison and Miles Davis. Just shows the man’s pedigree.
The semi-literate Hooker, ranked 35th in the 2015 Rolling Stone list of 100 greatest guitarists, has signed the image in bold blue ink to a clear area at the head, typically also adding his initials beneath his name. A rare opportunity to find such a beautiful signed image of the man himself.
