BILL HALEY and his COMETS. (1952 – 1981)
American rock and roll band. Their single “Rock Around the Clock” was the first ever Rock n’ Roll single to hit the American Billboard Charts in 1955. Other worldwide hits, to name but a few, included “See You Later, Alligator” and “Shake, Rattle and Roll”.
