William S. Burroughs

This postcard of William Burroughs features a portrait of the author by Warhol’s Factory associate, photographer and filmmaker, Gerard Malanga taken in New York in 1975.  Signed by Burroughs in black ink with his name alone to the lower white border. Printed by The Bellview Press.

Burroughs was an important writer from the Counter Culture Movement and worked with many other artists and writers, including Brion Gysin, Ralph Steadman and even The Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy.
