An original 1977 publicity still from Star Wars Episode IV – A New Hope. This is an excellent and extremely rare, signed and inscribed 10 x 8 photograph by Carrie Fisher. She is depicted in a full-length profile pose, in costume as Princess Leia, opposite the robot R2-D2 (named as Artoo-Detoo in the printed caption to the lower white border). Signed by Fisher in blue fountain pen ink to a light area of the image, adding her character name in her hand, ‘For Tony, Best Wishes, Carrie Fisher (Princess L)’.
