Title: Thunderbird from Vertical Suite in Black, 1957.

Description:  Aquatint on paper, signed and dated in pencil Evans 57, inscribed with title and numbered 7/50. This work shows an influence of Cubism and Vorticism upon his work with its heavily abstracted lines and shapes. There is also a feeling of African art about many of these prints.

Condition: There is some time-staining to the bottom margin of the border not affecting the image.
