William Klein

William Klein’s work does not follow the rules of photography with many of his images being out of focus or blurry or over-exposed. He did not believe in conforming to the norm and this is what makes his work stand out. He was a free spirit who went to Paris and stayed for the rest of his life. He loved filming on the streets and documenting regular people and even when he worked on photo shoots, he would prefer to do it on location and he would experiment with lenses that no-one else would use. William Klein was unique.
