Linda McCartney

Linda McCartney was a photographer who took photos across the genres. In the 1960’s she was the house photographer at the venue, The Fillmore East in New York City and she photographed the greats that came through there including Hendrix, The Doors, Zappa, The Stones, The Who, Otis Redding amongst others and in 1968 her photo of Eric Clapton taken for the highly influential magazine, Rolling Stone, made her the first female photographer to have her work featured on the cover. In 1967 she met Paul McCartney in London and two years later they were married. She joined his band and continued to take wonderful photographs none better than her pictures in the natural world.
