Margaret Pullee

(1910-2003)

Margaret Pullée was an artist who was a product of the Royal College of Art in the 1930’s and went on to create art for London Underground posters and would exhibit at the Royal Academy and the NEAC (New English Art Club). She was married to the artist Michael Pullée and their son Michael went on to become a successful artist too. Quite the family! Celebrated for her distinctive, naive style, Margaret’s work conjures up everyday life but in a dream-like way.
