Jeffrey Steele

(1931 – 2021)

British abstract painter and major op artist who used mathematics to create harmony within his works. In 1969 Steele was a founder member of the Systems group of artists along with Malcolm Hughes, Michael Kidner and Gillian Wise amongst others.His work continues to amaze each new audience that discover his images.
